SEO TECHNIQUE – LINK BAITING ?

SEO link baiting techniques includes as an ambiguous topic, because I think it's still lot of its definitions of are less precise (or maybe mine also).

As the name implies, baiting means lure or link fishing. The point is how to make a link or backlink for free.

A SEO Link Baiting technique is one advanced SEO techniques that make the person or another blog posted a link to our blog with a voluntary, not because we demand it.

That is why the technique is referred to as advanced techniques, like link wheel. Seo link baiting technique requires patience and is quite hard to make someone else posted a link to our blog with a volunteer that will create one way backlinks.

Confused? to make it easier we make an example of how the application of link baiting which considered as black hat. For example my friend has an online store, never sold well, because he wanted to have a great sale so he added an “about” page to the online store.

On this “about” page my friend declared as a victim of an accident and can not go anywhere, and can only work in front of the computer because he is now disabled. Visitors read this and maybe they felt pity, and yup, my mate successfully delivers baits (fishing) because eventually the visitor is providing a link to our online store for free in the sidebar of his blog.

Based on the above case, the technique of link baiting can be a black hat technique for defrauding visitors, and we shouldn’t do this.

Nevertheless, I am sure, when you guys doing  blogwalking certainly have found some typical blog content writing, original, and very helpful to solve the existing problems, eventually frequently you turning back to the blog. And finally put the link in our link list or blogroll friends.

In my opinion, most of the way or model of link baiting is done unconsciously. This means that the author was just trying to write well and there was no intention to link baiting. And it turns out that in the appreciation of the audience can truly remarkable that many who posted a link to your blog as a reference or just a friend link.

Another example of this technique is the link baiting widget “histats”. By installing the widget they were willing to link to histats voluntarily, because histats widget make something useful to see the number of visitors, pageviews, traffic source, etc..

If you really want to do link baiting just write something useful, original, include the source, and the reader understands. In other words, write quality content or articles (outstanding content).
